Mechanical Design Engineer – Steel Structures and Mechatronics

We are seeking an experienced mechanical engineer to design and develop a top German company's systems.

Requirements:

- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- Extensive experience with SolidWorks.

- 7 years of design engineering experience, particularly in machinery and steel structures.

- A combination of innovative problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Strong organizational skills, creativity, and adaptability.

- A proactive attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.

- Background in the construction industry.

- Experience with production and cost engineering interfaces.

- Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts and collaboration.

Responsibilities

- 3D Modeling: Create and manage 3D models in SOLIDWORKS, focusing on steel structures, mechanical components, mechatronics, and purchased parts.

- Technical Drawings: Produce precise drawings for parts, welded assemblies, machining assemblies, and complete mechanical systems.

- Bill of Materials (BOM): Develop and maintain BOMs, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project needs.

- Assembly Documentation: Prepare comprehensive assembly drawings and technical documentation.

- Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with electrical engineers, procurement teams, project sites, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
