Job Overview:
Our client in the technology sector is urgently seeking to hire a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Business development assistant. The ideal candidate will support the BD team in identifying and developing new business opportunities, ensuring the growth and success of the company.
Roles and responsibilities:
Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities in the technology sector.
Sales Strategies: Assist in the development and implementation of effective sales strategies and marketing plans.
Client Database Management: Maintain and update client databases, ensuring all information is accurate and current.
Client Engagement: Schedule and attend meetings with potential clients, prepare presentations, and follow up on leads.
Documentation: Assist in the preparation of proposals, contracts, and other essential business documents.
Support the BD Team: Collaborate with the BD team to achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.
Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work with other departments to ensure smooth operations and high levels of client satisfaction.
Skills and qualifications:
Educational Background: Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 1-year experience in a business development or sales role, preferably within the technology sector.
Market Understanding: Strong understanding of market research and sales strategies.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, both written and verbal.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
Team Player: Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Compensation: Ksh 30,000 gross per month with 5% commission
