Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role:

Honest Solutions is looking to hire a skilled DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform, and at least 5 years of experience, to join their growing tech team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and improve monitoring and observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Thanos, Jaeger).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and operate large-scale systems.

• Develop and promote SRE best practices across the company.

• Troubleshoot operational issues and resolve them effectively.

• Work with cloud-native technologies like Kubernetes.

• Use Terraform to manage infrastructure.

• Explore and introduce cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Software Engineer, focused on scalable infrastructures

• Experience with Kubernetes, AWS and Terraform

• Strong knowledge of incident management, including troubleshooting and recover

• Knowledge of GitOps practices

• Production experience with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or MySQL

• Contributions to open-source technologies are a plus.
