Salary: €200,000 - €250,000 annually
Mission
The General Manager will lead the strategic planning and execution of the German branch’s business goals. The role involves building and managing a local team, driving business development, and ensuring alignment with the company’s global objectives.
Responsibilities
Strategic Planning & Business Development
Develop and implement long-term strategic and annual business plans for the German branch.
Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify opportunities, adapt strategies, and expand into Germany and surrounding European markets.
Build strong relationships with local clients, partners, suppliers, and associations to enhance the company’s market position and brand reputation.
Drive the market share growth of the company’s products and services.
Team Management & Organizational Development
Recruit, train, and lead the German branch team while fostering a culture of excellence and motivation.
Establish and oversee operational processes to ensure efficiency and compliance.
Act as the primary liaison between the German branch and headquarters, ensuring smooth communication and resource sharing.
Set performance goals, monitor progress, and implement improvements to meet objectives.
Operations Oversight
Build an effective organizational structure and workflows.
Regularly evaluate team performance and implement incentive mechanisms to enhance efficiency.
Requirements
Mandatory
Strong soft skills: high energy, problem-solving ability, communication, and collaboration skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a team and operations from 0 to 1.
At least 2 years of tenure in the current company (no "jumpy" profiles).
Proven success in sales or marketing (experience in one area is sufficient if complemented by team expertise).
Team management experience and ability to build and scale a team.
Familiarity with the German market and willingness to relocate.
Preferred
Bachelor's degree or higher, ideally in engineering or technology.
Experience in the tech or electronics industry.
Fluency in German and prior experience in the German market.
Knowledge of European markets and proven track record in business expansion and team leadership.
