About the role:

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Client's dynamic team. As an QA, you will be responsible for developing and executing front-end and back-end test suites. This role will also assist in the creation and execution of Quality Engineering test strategies for configuration, integration, regression, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts

  • Execute front end and back end testing

  • Conduct manual testing and automation testing of software applications

  • Perform API testing to ensure the functionality and reliability of APIs

  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve software defects

  • Utilize test management software to track and report on test results

Requirements:

  • Software Testing or Development Experience: Possessing over 5 years of experience in software testing, development, or related enterprise software fields.

  • Expertise in Guidewire Insurance Suite Testing: Extensive experience of over 5 years specifically in functional v10 Guidewire Insurance Suite/Guidewire Policy Centre testing.

  • Understanding of QA Processes and Methodologies: Knowledgeable about QA processes, methodologies, and industry best practices.

  • Familiarity with SDLC and STLC: Proficient understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile development methodologies.

  • Proficient Test Case Creation: Ability to create comprehensive and precise test cases, bugs, and defects using Test Management software.

  • Utilization of Web Development Tools: Competent in utilizing web browser developer tools to analyze console and network tabs.

  • Experience in Domain Testing: Proficient in testing Property and Casualty Insurance, financial, or accounting software.

  • Competency in Front-end and Back-end Testing: Proficient in testing both the front-end and back-end aspects of web applications.

  • Knowledge of Quality Assurance Practices: Understanding of quality assurance processes, methodologies, and industry best practices in software development
