Backend Developer

About the role:

We are looking to hire a Backend Developer to join one of our Clients team in Germany. As a Backend Developer you will be responsible to design and implement new streaming-related features and functionality as part of the NodeJS stack, perform code reviews and write and improve tests. This is a full time, REMOTE position, working on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement new streaming-related features and functionality as part of our NodeJS stack.

• Write and improve tests, including developing a new stream analyzer.

• Introduce new tools and technologies.

• Perform code reviews (all our developers participate in code reviews).

• Participate in design and architecture reviews.

• Troubleshooting issues and identifying potential improvements.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience.

• Fluent in English (B2) and German (C1)

• Proficiency in backend development with Node.js and Golang.

• Experience working with React.js for frontend integration.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform+Helm, Gitlab etc).

• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, Redis, and Victoria metrics.

• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
