Founding Software Engineer

About the role:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Founding Software Engineer to join our clients team in San Francisco, California. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Python, Typescript, React, AI advancements, Deep learning modeling, Infrastructure at large scale, Low latency real-time systems, Modern web stack, architecting, system building, Product design & UX, startup experience, LLMs, and AI.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing end-to-end user-facing features and experiences.

• Architecting and building systems to safely and compliantly serve the products to even the most demanding and regulated industries.

• Reducing the end-to-end latency of the system, both real and perceived. This will require performance optimizations at all levels: from hacking on low-level GPU core optimizations to improving our algorithms to experimenting with novel UX ideas.

• Solving engineering and product challenges that arise from translating new research ideas into production software.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of experience building production software.

• Strong interest in working and experimenting with the latest AI advancements.

• Studied in a top tier Engineering School

• Strong CS, engineering and LLMs fundamentals.

• Proficiency with Python and/or Typescript + React.

• Understanding of the modern web stack.

• Good intuition for making technical, product, and business tradeoffs.

• Experience doing 0-to-1 engineering work at either startups or personal projects.

• Good sense for product design and UX.
